Jeffrey Lepsch, 39, of Dakota, was found guilty in a double homicide and armed robbery at May’s Photo in downtown La Crosse that left Paul Petras, 56, and his son, A.J. Petras, 17, dead. According to the complaint, Lepsch shot and killed the father and son before stealing $17,000 in camera equipment from their photography shop.
Last Tuesday, a jury found Lepsch guilty on all charges: two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, armed robbery, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Lepsch will sentenced on September 6, 2013; he could face life in prison.
