Eggs thrown at cyclist (08/07/2013)
By Chris Rogers

Five young men threw eggs and full cans of pop at a 31-year-old man who was riding his bike downtown, according to Winona Police Department reports. The man was riding his bike on the 150 block of East Second Street on Monday, August 5, at 11:52 a.m. when a car drove by and the young men threw the heavy cans and two dozen eggs at the bicyclist. John Henry Kauphusman III, 18, of Winona, and four juvenile males ages 14 through 17 were ticketed for disorderly conduct and littering following the attack.
