Woman faces multiple charges (08/28/2013)
By Jen Burris

On August 25 at 2:32 p.m., Lucy Rose Stark-Schendel, 19, was upset with a 17-year-old female, and an argument escalated to an alleged assault. Stark-Schendel allegedly injured the victimís right knee, pushed her up against a wall, bit her right middle finger, and put her hands around the girlís neck for about one minute. The victim reportedly fought for air, but did not lose consciousness. When the victim broke free she attempted to call 911, but Stark-Schendel interfered with the initial call. A witness, who had attempted to intervene in the fight, grabbed the phone, and Stark-Schendel allegedly began to attack her. Stark-Schendel then fled on foot toward JCPenney, but was picked up on another warrant and referred for charges of domestic assault by strangulation (a felony), domestic fear and domestic harm, interfering with a 911 call, and fifth degree assault.
