Take a day from your Labor Day weekend and come to Alma, Wisconsin for their annual Alma Music & Arts Festival. One of the favorite summer events on the Upper Mississippi River!
The festival is set on the banks of the Mississippi River in Alma, Wisconsin and there isn’t a better way to end your summer. Held Sunday of Labor Day weekend (September 1st) at the Alma Beach & Marina on the tree-lined shore of the great Mississippi River in Alma, Wisconsin; you can come by car or by boat.
This is a fun family event featuring live music all afternoon, storytelling by Kenny Salwey, and fine arts & crafts from local & regional artists. Many children’s activities are offered including games & pony rides. The National Eagle Center will have a “live” eagle presentation. Local community organizations offer great food at their booths with a wide variety and affordable options.
