Alma Music & Arts Festival (08/28/2013)
Take a day from your Labor Day weekend and come to Alma, Wisconsin for their annual Alma Music & Arts Festival. One of the favorite summer events on the Upper Mississippi River!

The festival is set on the banks of the Mississippi River in Alma, Wisconsin and there isn’t a better way to end your summer. Held Sunday of Labor Day weekend (September 1st) at the Alma Beach & Marina on the tree-lined shore of the great Mississippi River in Alma, Wisconsin; you can come by car or by boat.

This is a fun family event featuring live music all afternoon, storytelling by Kenny Salwey, and fine arts & crafts from local & regional artists. Many children’s activities are offered including games & pony rides. The National Eagle Center will have a “live” eagle presentation. Local community organizations offer great food at their booths with a wide variety and affordable options.

DATE & TIME Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, September 1st, 11am-7pm

1:00-1:45pm Music by Aric Sampson

2:00-3:15pm Music by Fly Rite Gals

3:15-3:30pm Story Telling By Kenny Salwey

3:45-5:00pm Music by Small Potatoes

5:00-7:00pm Music by The River Benders

LOCATION Beach Harbor Road, Alma, Wisconsin (north of downtown)

Wisconsin State Highway 35 (The Great River Road)

ADMISSION FREE!!!

This is event is open to the public and FREE. Take a scenic drive along the Wisconsin Great River Road; enjoy the historic river town of Alma, Wisconsin and a wonderful festival on the tree lined shore of the great Mississippi River.
