Arcadia Food Pantry for Trempealeau County
It has been a pleasure to volunteer to help coordinate the Arcadia Food Pantry for Trempealeau County for the past several years, because of the generosity of people in our surrounding area. We are supported by individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations who all work together so well to assure that our food pantry has enough and no one needs to go without.
In the past year, we have served an average of 139 households each month and we have distributed an average of 7651 pounds of food monthly. The pantry is open from 1 to 3 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month and is located on the lower level of the Mayo Health Clinic, 464 S. St. Joseph Avenue in Arcadia.
I am excited to tell you about a special opportunity to help our county food pantry meet the growing need we are experiencing. Throughout the month of October, Feed My People Food Bank is partnering with us to match every dollar we receive through the Food for More Challenge with a pound of food, up to an extra 5000 pounds!
If you are considering giving a year-end donation to the Arcadia Food Pantry for Trempealeau County, please consider giving it in the month of October to take advantage of this opportunity and make your dollars stretch even farther.
The deadline for receiving matching funds is October 31. Make checks payable to the Arcadia Food Pantry. Note in the memo line “Match Campaign.” Send the checks to Arcadia Food Pantry for Trempealeau County, c/o JoDeen Forsyth, 1358 Hillview Dr., Arcadia, Wis., 54612.
On behalf of the thirty plus volunteers who keep our county pantry running, we thank you for your donations and appreciate your support because we have seen that it makes a difference in the lives of so many!
