Walski, John J. (10/09/2013)
John J. Walski, age 86, of Centerville, Wis., passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at his home.

He was born on August 18, 1927, in Galesville, Wis., to John and Helen (Jereczek) Walski. In 1977, John married Bernadine (Drazkowski) Rolbiecki, they later separated; she preceded him in death on October 1, 2013.

John was a farmer and a logger for most of his life, and he enjoyed logging right up to the end. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek.

John is survived by his twin brother George (Dorothy) Walski, Galesville, Wis., brother-in-law, Harry Price, Philadelphia, Pa., nephews George (Liz) Price, Boothwyn, Pa., and Harry (Janet) Price Jr., Boothwyn, Pa., nieces: Diane (Tony) Wagner, Trempealeau, Wis., Linda (Chuck) Glowcheski, Trempealeau, Wis., Anita (Brian) Lilla, Galesville, Wis., and Kris (Fran) Teske, Galesville, Wis., great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gertrude Price and Mildred (Mario) Manfredi, and a sister in infancy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at noon on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, Wis. Fr. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk will officiate.

John will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Pine Creek.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, on Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass.

Pallbearers will be Carl Wagner, Michael Wagner, Mark Motszko, Keith Schlesser, Mason Lilla, and Jacob Teske.
