Friday, October 18
At 11:30 a.m., deputies received a report of a scam. A couple received a phone call asking for money from a person claiming to be their son. The couple wired nearly $3,000, only to find out it was a scam.
At 3:45 p.m., deputies executed a search warrant in Minnesota City, which led to the arrest of two people. Anthony Alfonzo Simonic, 52, of Minnesota City, and Trisha Ann Fenske, 39, of Minnesota City, were arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. The search warrant found a crystalized white substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine and a second substance that field tested positive as a synthetic drug. Hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia were found at the scene as well.
Sunday, October 20
At 3:28 a.m., deputies arrested Stacey Lamont Caine, 21, of St. Louis, Mo., on a Missouri warrant for felony burglary after Caine was allegedly involvement in a dispute.
Monday, October 21
At 7:50 p.m., deputies received a call about damage to a residence in Stockton. When deputies arrived the caller explained that a man punched holes in the sheetrock, pulled the large screen TV out of the entertainment stand, pulled several collectibles off the wall, broke the glass shock on the door, and broke a window after a fight with his sister. Clifford Walter Gozdel, 27, was arrested for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
Friday, October 18
At 2:55 p.m., officers received a report of a theft at a residence on the 100 block of Main Street. An adult male stated he was missing $600 in cash from an envelope that reportedly had $1,000 in it. There was no sign of forced entry; police are investigating a suspect.
Saturday, October 19
At 1:03 a.m., officers ticketed Samuel Lowns Aune, 19, of Cannon Falls, Minn., for underage consumption of alcohol, disorderly conduct, and possession of anothers identification card, after Aune allegedly threw a glass drinking cup at officers near Third and Franklin streets. Aune had a blood alcohol content of .169 percent and was sent to detox.
At 1:30 a.m., officers received a report of an intruder in a residence on the 100 block of East Fifth Street. Jeremiah James William Reynolds, 22, of Dassell, Minn., was ticketed for disorderly conduct after he entered an apartment that was not his own. Reynolds was sent to detox with a blood alcohol content of .31 percent.
At 2:39 a.m., officers witnessed a vehicle near the 750 block of West Sixth Street driving over the speed limit. Officers stopped the vehicle and ticketed Tyler John Ryan, 20, with fourth-degree driving while intoxicated. Ryans blood alcohol content was .15 percent.
At 4:27 p.m., officers stopped Geoffrey Martyn Hinde, 22, of Medford, Wis., for crossing over the center line. Hinde was arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated. He had a blood alcohol content of .12 percent. Hinde had a felony warrant for his arrest for possession of a controlled substance and possession of felony firearms in Wisconsin.
At 6:49 p.m., officers received a report of an individual passed out at Kryzsko Commons at Winona State University. Officers ticketed Alan John Hergott, 18, of Shakopee, Minn., for underage consumption of alcohol. Hergott was sent to detox with a blood alcohol content of .308 percent.
At 8:32 p.m, Tyler John Allen, 18, of Dunnell, Minn., was ticketed for minor in consumption. Allen had a blood alcohol content of .18 percent.
At 10:12 p.m., officers ticketed Kinjo Kladikm Omar, 20, for underage consumption of alcohol and disorderly conduct after officers allegedly witnessed Omar attempting to start a fight with a younger, smaller boy near Sixth and Main streets. Omar was sent to detox with a blood alcohol content of .193 percent.
Sunday, October 20
At 12:19 a.m., officers received a report of someone wandering Lake Park near Franklin Street. Joseph David Prior, 19, of Winona, was ticketed for underage consumption of alcohol. Prior had a blood alcohol content of .19 percent.
At 12:27 a.m., officers received a report of a theft on the 250 block of Lafayette Street. An 18-year-old woman reported that she awoke to the sound of two male voices in her apartment. When her boyfriend looked to see what was going on, no one was in the apartment, but an iPad and a fourth-generation iPhone, as well as several Xbox games, were missing from the apartment.
At 2:19 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle with three juveniles in it near the 400 block of West Eighth Street after the vehicle was reportedly seen at a fight in the area. Three juveniles may be referred for charges after allegedly assaulting individuals with a stun gun. A juvenile, 17, of Rochester, was ticketed for possession of a small amount of marijuana, breaking curfew, and possession of a stun gun. The other two juveniles in the vehicle, both 17, also of Rochester, were ticketed for breaking curfew.
At 3:09 a.m., officers received reports of a loud party at an apartment at 270 Center Street. Patrick Nkuza Mpagazine, 26, of Winona, was ticketed for hosting a loud party.
At 4:51 a.m., officers ticketed Tanner Ronald Kruckeberg, 19, of Winona, for underage consumption of alcohol after they witnessed him dart from a group near the Freedom store at Fifth and Johnson streets.
Monday, October 21
At 9:27 a.m., officers responded to a report of an accident on Gilmore Avenue and Sunset Drive. A vehicle, driven by Corey Gerard Beyer, 16, of Winona, struck a vehicle driven by Jason Scott Phillips, 37, of Winona, head-on while attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Sunset Drive. Phillips was taken to Winona Health with possible injuries. Beyer was ticketed for failure to yield to the right-of-way.
At 11:47 p.m., officers received a report of a loud party on the 650 block of West Fifth Street. Priscillia Ann Adler, 43, of Winona, was ticketed for hosting a loud party.
