Artist Alesa De Jagerís work is featured in the new exhibit at the Winona Arts Center, Prints and Paintings, which runs from October 23 to November 22. The opening reception on Tuesday, November 5, 5 to 6:30 p.m. is free and open to the public.
Alesa has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Iowa State University with an emphasis on drawing , painting and print making, and is a member of the Northern Printmakers Alliance. She currently lives with her family near Galesville, WI. She previously lived in several different areas, from Iowa to Duluth, and writes: My work as an artist has evolved with the landscapes Iíve inhabited and the people coming in and out of it. In the warmer months she runs a small flower business, designing for weddings and events. Her work can be seen online at www.lesadejager.com.
Winona Arts Center is located at 228 E. 5th St, at the corner of Franklin. Gallery hours are Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m.
