Tina Marie Eveslage, age 45, of Dodge, Wis., died on Thursday, October 24, at Winona Health in Winona, Minn.
Tina was born on January 27, 1968, in Red Wing, Minn., to Melvin “Bud” and Carol (Barry) Eveslage. She graduated from Cannon Falls High School in Cannon Falls, Minn,. and received her bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University, St. Paul.
Tina loved working with children, and was a nanny for several years for the Mulder and Moore families in Dellwood and Mahtomedi, Minn. She later was a teaching assistant at Montessori School in Vadnais Heights, Minn. After that, Tina shared her passion for coffee as manager at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Vadnais Heights, Minn. Upon moving to Dodge in 2010, Tina worked at Walgreen’s as a beauty consultant and pharmacy technician in Winona.
Tina loved living in a small town and was happiest after she moved to Dodge. On any given day, you could find her tending to a menagerie of chickens, ducks and geese, or taking care of her three cats. Even more than that, she shared a passion for antique cars with her significant other, Brad, and especially loved riding with him in their 1929 Model A. When they weren’t riding together in old cars, Tina enjoyed volunteering at Elmer’s Auto and Toy Museum in Fountain City, Wis.
Tina is survived by her significant other, Brad Duellman and his two daughters, Danica and Dorisa Duellman all of Dodge, her father, Melvin “Bud” Eveslage of Melrose, Minn., her mother, Carol Eveslage of Wanamingo, Minn; a sister, Tammy (Jeff) Nystuen and their two sons, Nate and Ian all of Ham Lake, Minn.
Tina is also survived by Brad’s family, his parents, Elmer and Bernadette Duellman, his three brothers, Les (Patti) Duellman of Winona, Rick (Peggy) Duellman and Eric (Chelsey) Duellman both of Fountain City, Wis., two sisters, Melissa (Craig) Baker and Amanda (Bobby) McKitty both of Fountain City, Wis.
Tina was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ferdinand and Loretta Eveslage of Freeport, Minn.; and her maternal grandparents, Leo and Lillian Barry of Albert Lea, Minn.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia, Wis., with Pastor Peter Jonas officiating. Burial will be in the Glencoe Lutheran Cemetery in rural Arcadia.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
