(Information for Older Adults, People with Disabilities and How to Prepare Your Pets for Emergencies!)
This presentation will focus on how to make plans to prepare for a number of different types of emergencies. Do you have a family emergency plan? What about your pets in case of emergency? Do you have supplies on hand for medical situations as well as if the power goes out for some days? Do you know what to do if an evacuation is ordered? What preparations can you make regarding your motor vehicle to help keep you from getting stranded? What should you do if you are stranded in your car especially during a winter storm? What Wireless Emergency Alerts exist?
