Car/cow crash reported (11/06/2013)
On November 1, at 10:09 p.m., the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a collision between a motor vehicle and a cow on U.S. Hwy. 10 near U.S. Hwy. 53 in the Township of Sumner. A cow had broken through a pasture fence and was on the highway. A vehicle driven by Terri L. Drum, 57, of Strum, Wis., was traveling west on U.S. Hwy. 10 and struck the cow, causing minor injury to the driver and extensive damage to the vehicle. Drum was transported by Osseo Ambulance to Mayo Hospital in Osseo, with injuries to her wrist. Assisting at the scene were the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, the City of Osseo Police Department, Osseo First Responders, Osseo Ambulance and the Osseo Fire Department.
