Cathedral’s Young at Heart will meet November 7, starting with 12:10 p.m. Mass followed by a lunch of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, baby carrots, cranberries, and pumpkin pie. The Minnesota City First Baptist Ladies Aid will meet Thursday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Callista Court.
Winona Area Coin Club will meet Sunday, November 10, from 1:30-4:00 p.m. at the AmericInn, 60 Riverview Drive, Winona. New members welcome. Feel free to bring the kids. There will be items on display for viewing. Free bag of foreign coins to every child in attendance.
The Chautauqua Club will meet on Monday, November 11, at noon at the home of Megan Ping. Co-hostess will be Katherine Gilmer and Pat Malotka will present the program. The Catholic Daughters will meet Monday November 11, at 5:15 p.m. at Cathedral. We will start with a prayer service for our departed members followed with a potluck. Bring a dish to pass and your own placeware. Meeting will follow and will discuss the Christmas Social and Raffle.
Ruskin Study Club will meet at the home of Janet Decker on November 11, at 1:00 p.m. Pat Papenfuss will serve as co-hostess and Colleen Brenner will give the paper.
The Hiawatha Valley Civil War Round Table will meet on Thursday, November 14, at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Winona County History Center, 160 Johnson St., Winona. Our speaker will be Tom Hosier of Rochester, who will present an interesting program on “Antietam Battlefield Revisited.” All are invited and refreshments will be served.
