Driver rolls vehicle, drives away (11/20/2013)
On November 16, at 4:28 a.m., the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department received a call of an accident on State Road 93, 1/2 mile north of Wilber Road in the Town of Arcadia. A car driven by Crystal Lee Goodman, 27, of La Crosse, Wis., was traveling north on State Road 93 near Wilber Road when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, rolling the vehicle. The vehicle had severe damage but came to rest on its wheels. A witness stopped to check on the lone occupant of the vehicle. As the witness called 911, the vehicle left the scene, northbound, and was located at the Arcadia Kwik Trip parking lot. Goodman received head and neck injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Goodman admitted to drinking and was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (2nd offense), operating after revocation, and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
