She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Lyle) Fritz of Winona and their children, Lisa (Mark) Johnson of Monticello and Mark (Christie) Fritz of Ranchester, Wyoming; son, Robert Steinfeldt of Winona and his children, Shannon (Heath) Dienger and Kari (James) Remlinger of Winona; son, Fred Steinfeldt of Winona and his children, Bridget (Richard “Butch”) Bauer, Brandy Steinfeldt, Mike (Michele) Steinfeldt, all of Winona; great-grandchildren, Halle and Macy Remlinger, Samantha Jo, Ricky, Kolby and Karlie Bauer, Abigail Julia, Lauren and Haylee Steinfeldt, Jaren Fritz, Brody Weinmann and Emilyn Dienger; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Unnasch of Houston and Mardell Unnasch of La Crosse; and many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, sisters, Harriett Papenfuss, Dorothy Kinstler, Marion Paulson, Mildred Erdmann and Geraldine Steinfeldt; brothers, Alfred and Arden Unnasch.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 23, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ridgeway, with the Reverend Anthony Straseske officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Pickwick Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.

Eleanor’s family would like to express a big thank you to Valley View Healthcare and Rehab in Houston for the great care and also the hospice nurses and chaplain from Gundersen Health Systems.
