Mitzvah, a good deed which requires an action (12/02/2013)
From: Jerry Miller

The Hebrew word Mitzvah can be translated as, a good deed which requires an action.

For the past 25 years the “10 Days of Giving,” December 1-10, initiated by Greg Evans and sponsored by Merchants Bank, has given us an opportunity to perform a Mitzvah by contributing food or funding so that those less fortunate than ourselves can have a brighter holiday season. The good deed is helping the less fortunate and the action is contributing.

Please join Sue, me, and our family in performing this Mitzvah.

You may drop off or send a check to Merchants Bank, or you may also donate directly on the Winona Volunteer Services website at www.winonavs.org.

We have met the challenge in the past - The need is greater today - Together let’s make it happen.
