Snowmobile youth safety training to be offered (12/04/2013)
The youth snowmobile safety training class is an introductory class of approximately 12 hours, designed primarily for the snowmobile rider with little or no experience in snowmobile operation. The course includes a hands-on operating field day. Youth ages 11-17 are eligible to complete the course. Certification becomes valid at age 12. Must attend and pass a youth snowmobile safety certification class.

Classes will be held at the Wilson Fire Hall on Thursday, December 5, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.; Thursday, December 12, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.; and Thursday, December 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A field day will be held Saturday, December 21, from 9-11 a.m. (pending snow).

Class payment can be made online to the DNR after the class is completed.
