Surviving is her daughter, Peggy (Bob) Kamrowski of Dodge, Wis., and a sister, Sharon (Bruce) Firzlaff, of Plainview, Minn. She is also survived by grandchildren: Jason Heins, Stacey (Greg) Bronk, and Lisa (Jim) Borland. Also surviving are great-grandchildren: Megan, Jacob, and Colton Heins, Mary, Allison, and Sam Bronk, Alexandria Srock, Gavin, Briant, and Marisa Borland.

Ava was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lester and siblings: Betty Sack, Mary Ann Schmidt and James White.

Ava’s family would like to thank the staff of Saint Anne Extended Healthcare and Winona Area Hospice.

A memorial gathering and time of remembrance will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home, Winona. A private family committal service will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Minneiska, Minn.
