Burt, Sandra ‘Sandee’ Ann (12/11/2013)
Sandra “Sandee” Ann Burt, 66, of Winona, died at home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 7, 2013, after losing her battle with lung cancer.

Sandee was born November 12, 1947, to James T. and Pauline (Kline) Vondrasek. After high school, she married Michael Cada; they were later divorced. On September 27, 1986, she married Thomas Burt in Trempealeau, Wis. As newlyweds, Tom and Sandee lived in California while Tom was serving in the Navy. They eventually returned to settle in Winona. Sandee had worked at various places in town, most recently at Parkview Pharmacy.

Sandee enjoyed dancing, playing slot machines at the casino, hummingbirds, reading, her cats Echo and Nemo, and her treasured collections of carousels, porcelain ladies, and her Christmas village. She will be sadly missed by many.

Sandee is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Tom Burt of Winona; children, Michelle (Jeff) Kohner of Winona, Jon (Vickie) Cada of Winona, and Nicholas (Maria) Burt of Trempealeau; grandchildren, Jessica Kohner and Colin Cada; and brothers, James (Joan) and Richard Vondrasek. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Lacey Rose Cada; sister, Marilyn Burt, brother, William Vondrasek, and sister-in-law, Janet Vondrasek.

A gathering of family and friends was held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview.

In lieu of flowers, Sandee’s family suggests memorials be considered to the Winona Humane Society.

Please share a memory of Sandee with her family, sign the online guest book, and view her video tribute when it becomes available at www.hofffuneral.com.
