Ruth A. Seebold, 76, of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Ruth was born on June 5, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, to Homer and Anna (Dilley) Williams. She graduated in 1955 from Winona Senior High School. During her life, she worked at Fiberite, Peerless Chain, Behren’s Manufacturing, Gordie’s Standard, Kmart, and the family business, Inner Circle East. She retired in 1993.
On August 9, 1958, Ruth married Stan Seebold in East Dubuque, Ill. They made their home in Winona and raised their four children. Ruth’s hobbies included making afghans, weaving baskets and in earlier days, showing horses. The most important thing to Ruth was her family: kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
She will be greatly missed by her children: Anne Holubar, Winona, Minn.; Paulette (Gerald) Drazkowski, Buffalo City, Wis., Richard (Bonnie) Seebold, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; Betsy (Earl) Jennings, Wytoka, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many more relatives and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Anna; her husband, Stan, who died on October 2, 2007; and her brother, Harold Williams.
Services of remembrance for Ruth were held on Friday, January 10, 2014, at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home.
