Belva Grajczyk, 89, died January 11, 2014, in Winona.
She was born January 7, 1925, the daughter of Louis and Rose (Jacober) Paulsen in Wadena, Minn. She graduated from Wadena High School in 1943 and attended St. Cloud Teachers College (now St. Cloud University). On November 27, 1947, she married Clifford (Bud) Grajczyk. They recently celebrated 66 years of marriage.
Belva was employed for 23 years at Wincraft and retired in 1981 as Advertising Manager. Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her husband, Bud; her son, Christopher (Susan) Grey; daughter, Paula (Phil) Heimbecker; two grandsons: Tim Wiczek, and Christopher (Leah) Wiczek; granddaughter, Elizabeth Grey; great-grandsons: Joey Wiczek, twins Braydn and Taelyn Wiczek; her sisters: Alice (Russel) Vane, and Myrle Dixon.
Belva was a world traveler, visiting most of the U.S., 13 countries in Europe, and a South Pacific tour including Japan, China and Australia.
Belva had many interests, including reading historical fiction and collecting antiques. An enthusiastic bridge player, Belva was a member of Westfield and several other bridge groups. One of the great joys of her life was playing cards with Grand Master, Omar Sharif.
