Burt, Lynda K. (01/19/2014)
Lynda K. Burt, age 91, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare, with her family by her side.

Lynda was born on August 10, 1922, in Hillsdale Township, Winona County to Benjamin and Anna (Gnade) Prigge. She was married to Orville E. Burt on February 2, 1946,in Winona. Orville preceded her in death on July 1, 1989.

Lynda was employed at Behrens Manufacturing for a number of years. She was a member of St. Martinís Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was clerk of her rural school district for many years; she was Past President of Sauer Memorial Home Auxiliary and St. Martinís Womenís Guild; she also served a term as Treasurer of the Womenís Guild, was a member of Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a local Red Cross volunteer and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

She is survived by son, Denny Burt, Los Angeles, Calif.; daughters, Kathleen (Russ Loftus) Burt, Lewiston and Karen (John) Albrecht, Winona; three grandchildren, Brian (Lori) Albrecht, Heather (Michael) Terry and Heidi (Martin) Wolter; eight- great-grandchildren; brother, Armin (Irma) Prigge, Winona; niece, Patricia Walker and nephews Roger Pruka and Douglas Prigge.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville; sister, Rosalie Housker and infant brother, Paul.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. at St. Martinís Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Richard Moore officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held after 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the church.

Casket bearers will be Michael Terry, Martin Wolter, Allen Ellinghuysen, Douglas Prigge, Dean Prigge and Wayne Prigge. Honorary bearers will be great-grandchildren, Haley Terry, Jaida Terry, Sadie Terry, Courtney Wolter, Dylan Wolter, Jordan Wolter, Samuel Albrecht and Nathan Albrecht.

Martin-Myhre Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
