The Winona Health Auxiliary will be hosting the $5 jewelry sale with 25,000 pieces of assorted jewelry including necklaces, wallets, bracelets, watches and much more. All proceeds go toward Auxiliary projects and healthcare scholarships.

Quarterly support group for people dealing with Parkinson’s disease facilitated by Winona Health physical therapist, Stephen Seltz, PT. Malia Fox from the Senior Friendship Center will present on the opportunities available at the Senior Friendship Center for those with Parkinson’s’ disease. Little Ones Remembered Outreach Group

Senior Living at Watkins, Great Hall, 175 E. Wabasha (7th street), Winona, Minn.

Little Ones Remembered Outreach Group is focused on supporting families who have experienced a loss through miscarriage. It is a safe and accepting place to talk to others who have also experienced the loss of a baby. Gatherings are the third Tuesday of each month, January through November. Free, no registration required.

COPD Support Group

Wednesday, February 19, 2:30 – 3:20 p.m.

Winona Health, Lake Winona Manor classroom, 865 Mankato Ave., Winona, Minn.

Winona Health respiratory therapist, Bob Elam, RT, facilitates this monthly support group for people dealing with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This support group offers an opportunity to ask questions, share tips with others who may be experiencing similar challenges or caring for a person who has COPD. Meetings are the third Wednesday of every

Hands Only CPR and Choking Emergencies Training

Saturday, February 22, ½-hour sessions from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Winona Health, B.A. Miller Auditorium, 855 Mankato Ave., Winona, Minn.

This event is for those who do not need a CPR card or formal training. This will be a fun and educational event that could help you save or someone you love or a fellow community member. The last Friday of the month, the Winona Health Foundation invites all Winona Health employees to wear jeans or team jerseys and to make a donation to Winona Health Foundation for a project or event designed to benefit patients, residents, families and visitors.
