I know that all members of the community and surrounding area join me in sorrow following the tragic events of January 5, 2014, when four young lives were lost. This terrible tragedy leaves us all stunned and saddened. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of all the victims as they grieve for their loved ones.
Following that fateful event, we witnessed many extraordinary examples of courage, compassion, and cooperation from local and surrounding agencies. The families as well as this department were moved by the tremendous heartfelt emotion and outpouring of assistance as the search continued. A special thank you to the following:
