On Sunday, February 9 Noon - 4 p.m. the Winona County History Center will be open with free admission for the annual Open House for the Winona County Historical Society. This family friendly afternoon will be filled with live entertainment, Valentine crafts, treats, demonstration and information booths from area organizations, and more.
The Open House is a way to thank the community, and show what WCHS does as an organization and to highlight other area organizations that often partner with WCHS.
The WCHS invites you, your family, and friends to come learn more about your past, and have some fun doing so. Explore the History Center’s exhibits and discover the Laird Lucas Library and Archives. Make a valentine for someone special and enjoy the talents of local entertainers. Check out what other museums, organizations, events and clubs are up to. All for free!
Find a schedule of the afternoon’s entertainment online (www.winonahistory.org) closer to the event! Plan your visit by visiting the WCHS online at www.winonahistory.org or by calling 507.454.2723. Also find the WCHS on Facebook and YouTube.
