On Tuesday, January 28, at 4:44 p.m. Winona County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an accident involving a Lewiston-Altura school bus on Fern Valley Drive, south of Rollingstone. According to deputies, Karl Allen Herber, 54, of Rollingstone, was driving five children ranging in age from kindergarten to fifth grade when he went off the road and hit several trees.
