Charges filed against Trempealeau Co. detective (02/02/2014)

On Thursday, January 30, charges were filed against Michael O. Anderson, 32, of Ettrick, Wis., son of Trempealeau County Sheriff Richard Anderson. Michael Anderson, who is a detective with Trempealeau County, is charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct for allegedly punching a 26-year-old Galesville man in the face on November 27, 2013, at a saloon in Ettrick.

Both charges carry a maximum penalty of nine months in jail and a $10,000 fine.
