Are you tired of the cold winter weather? An outdoor hobby can help you enjoy the long winter season. Digital photography is a great way to connect to the outdoors, especially in the wintertime!
At 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, join Master Naturalist volunteer, Dave Schulz, at Whitewater State Park to learn some basics of digital photography.
Participants will learn tips for photographing wild plants and animals and you’ll have a chance to explore the winter landscape of the park and practice your photography skills. Equipment will be provided. Parents must accompany children. This program is offered free of charge. All vehicles entering the state park must have a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit. Permits are available at the park office for $5/daily or $25/annual.
