Read the Bible ó please! (02/16/2014)
From: David Foss

Galesville, Wis.

No amount of deception or misinterpretation of Scripture will ever change what is written in Godís Word. One could use an encyclopedia of deceptive rigmarole, yet only one verse of Scripture could prove any misrepresentation of Scripture as fallacy.

Many have gotten off the right path and are following the path(s) of Lucifer. Satan has so blinded them that they do not see the revolting harm of their polluted words of chicanery. Once they have become enticed and controlled by the master of deception and allurement, they seem to be perfectly unaware that they are wallowing in the malicious pool of his deception.

The wolves of Satan are sly, unyielding and dangerous. They would try to convince people that polar bears are black, if they thought it would further their evil agenda. They are masterful at taking verses of Scripture out of context, so we need to be able to discern a lie because the world has become infiltrated with deluders of Godís Word.

Why are there those who will lead people astray? There are several reasons. Here are three of them: 1. Not having studied the Scriptures, many will have been deceived and will accept and believe in that which is unscriptural and will then pass this erroneous belief on to others; 2. Because they have incorrectly interpreted Scripture; 3. Purposely lead people astray because of hatred for God and His children, etc.

The Bible warns of false prophets, so seek wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from Godís Word. The agents of Lucifer speak with silver, forked tongues and, unfortunately, the world pays undue homage to what they say because of their ignorance of Scripture. It is a must that we be able to distinguish truth and falsehood.

Our obedience must be to God and His inspired Word, not to man and his uninspired word. Imposters of truth can easily be identified if we know and correctly interpret Godís Word. This is an absolute necessity because deception abounds; therefore, study Godís Word intently.

We could easily prove to the skeptics the validity and inerrancy of Scripture. Just have those who have never read the Bible, read it for the first time from cover to cover. No matter what their number, every person would come to the same, correct conclusion: That the God of the Bible does teach that there will be a place of eternal punishment. If it were a matter of life or death, all the deceivers of Godís Word would not deny this fact of Scripture either. The Bible makes this fact crystal clear many times. Sadly, there are many very foolish individuals who are dissatisfied with Godís teachings and refuse to accept what the Bible teaches.

We need to pray for the deceivers of Godís Word and for those that have been deceived. If people would earnestly study Scripture, the cults and pagan religions of the world would become nonexistent; so, read the Bible please!

Ponder Matthew 7:13,14,21 John 3:3, 6,36 I Corinthians 6:9-10 Galatians 5:19-21 Ephesians 5:5
