Winona’s Wildflower, a female folk trio, with special guest cellist Cindy Johnson, will host a concert benefiting Project COMPASS on Friday, February 28 from 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. at Holzinger Lodge, 925 West Lake Blvd., Winona. A percentage of proceeds will support Project COMPASS, a WAPS Community Education program that provides services for persons with disabilities.
Winona’s Wildflower has been described by Erik Thompson of Minneapolis City Pages as “lovely, captivating,... featuring resonant female vocalists that rang out true.” Members of Wildflower are Aleah Harvey, Amanda Hardy and Patti Darbo.
Tickets for the Wildflower concert are on sale now. Tickets are $3 for Project COMPASS participants, and $5 in advance, or $7 at door for community members. Feel free to bring light snacks and beverages to share. Water will be provided.
