The Follies are coming to town! The Topsy Turvy Television Follies Part 2, sponsored by the Winona Health Auxiliary, will be held Thursday, February 27, through Sunday, March 2, and you won’t want to miss them. The Follies are a wonderful, community-wide variety show featuring your friends and neighbors singing and dancing to the tunes from memorable television shows from the last 50 years. There is even a rumor that “Laugh-In” may be represented by the “laugh wall” and a bikini-clad dancer! Sue Degallier and Nancy Iglesias, the Follies chairs, are the creative energy behind all of the writers and actors.
The Follies will be held at the Saint Cecilia Theatre on the Campus of Cotter Schools, corner of Vila and Wabasha streets. The proceeds from the Follies will help purchase sleeper chairs for the patient rooms at Winona Health to increase the comfort of patients and their families.
Follies tickets are $12 each and are on sale now at Midtown Foods, HyVee Foods and the Glady D. Miller Gift Shop at Winona Health. Tickets will also be available at the door if still available.
The Winona Health Auxiliary and the Follies committee would like to thank our major underwriters for the show: Merchants Bank, Miller Ingenuity, and Kohner Materials/Modern Transport Terminal. The Follies give the Winona community an opportunity to join together in supporting local healthcare.
Don’t miss it! The Follies are coming to town! It’ll be a great time!
