Friday, August 20 WISCONSIN BATS
8:00-9:00PM
Michael Bakke, a Wisconsin Bat Specialist will be in the park this evening to discuss his knowledge and skills when dealing with bats. Bakke will be presenting a 12 minute video on bats, handing out information on bats, discussing different bat boxes (including the three mounted on the side of the Nature Center), and possibly bringing live caged bats.
Saturday, August 21 LIFE ON THE RIVER
7:30-8:30PM
Kenny Salwey, an author known for his 20+ years of subsistence living, will be sharing his lifetime stories of living in harmony with the Mississippi River. If you only go to one interpretive program this summer, THIS SHOULD BE THE ONE! Kenny is a great storyteller and inspirational speaker for the conservation of the Mississippi backwaters.
**A Wisconsin State Park sticker is required for all motorized vehicles entering the park
