ADULT TOUCH FOOTBALL (SEVEN PERSON) REGISTRATION NOW OPEN UNTIL AUGUST 23, 2004

Fall is closing in fast and letters have been sent out regarding our adult touch football league to all of last year's managers. If you were a manager last year and have not received the information or are a new manager interested in putting a team in our league, stop in at the Winona Park Recreation Office in City Hall or call us at 457-8258 and we will give you or sent you the information. We are always looking for more teams. (Note: The deadline for accepting registration for adult touch football is Monday, August 23, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. Special Note: The team's total fee is $440.00 (two nights a week) and the preliminary rosters are due at the time of registration-deposits are no longer taken. Don't wait until the last minute to register or you may be too late to get in and your teammates may not be too happy with you.

ADULT TOUCH FOOTBALL (SEVEN MAN) OFFICIALS NEEDED

Anyone interested in officiating for the Park Recreation Department in Adult Touch Football ($18.25/game) this fall must attend a football rule interpretation meeting held by the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) and become a MSHSL certified official. The closest official's football meeting is being held in Rochester at Century High School at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2003. If you have not been previously certified, you must contact the MSHSL (763-560-2262) to have them send you the appropriate information and necessary forms. Also, call us to let us know you are interested in officiating our league and we will send you an availability form and application for our league so you can indicate the evenings you are available to officiate. If you need further information, call the Park Recreation Office at 457-8258.
