What happens to a Jewish girl who goes to Palestine? With all thatís going on in the world, this might sound like the start of some sick joke, but itís not. ďAnna Baltzer is a Jewish American Columbia graduate, Fulbright scholar, and granddaughter of Holocaust refugees. She is a frequent volunteer with the Womenís International Peace Service.Ē She has spent a great deal of time over the past several years in Palestine and what happened is she discovered there is a lot more to the Israel/Palestine story than she had been raised to believe. She tells her story with lots of pictures in DVD format. There are no rockets, bombs, bloody bodies, hysterical crying, or angry mobs. What she presents is a very articulate, understated and moving account of ďLife in Occupied PalestineĒ She asks that people help share her story and thatís why I am having this aired on local public access television. It will be show on HBC Channel 20 at 10 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. on Friday, August 8; at noon and 7 p.m., on Saturday, August 9; and Sunday August 10, at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Please share this with family and friends.
