ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Winona, Minnesota in the City Hall at 207 Lafayette, until 2:00 P.M., C.S.T., Tuesday, January 25th, 2005, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:
Wincrest Water Treatment Plant
In general, work consists of constructing a new water treatment plant in the Wincrest subdivision for the removal of iron from the groundwater supply. Work includes: excavation, soil corrections, backfilling, grading, concrete, masonry, pressure filters, pumps, chemical feed, interior and underground piping, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and correlated items.
The estimated construction cost for this Project is $2,100,000.
Bidders desiring a copy of the Bidding Documents may obtain them from the Issuing Office of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 2335 West Highway 36, St. Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $150.00. Bidding Documents may be seen at the Winona City Hall and at the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents can also be purchased with a credit card over the internet at www.bonestroo.com.

Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
