Request for Bids
for
Demolition & Removal of Buildings
Pelzer Street Reconstruction Project
Sealed proposals marked "Demolition & Removal of Buildings- Pelzer Street Reconstruction" will be received at the office of Community Development, City Hall, 207 Lafayette Street, until 11:00 A.M. on Thursday March 31, 2005, for the furnishing of all labor and materials required for the demolition and removal thereof for the Port Authority of Winona, Minnesota.
The major items of work required for the site are:
* Removal of foundations/slabs and walls for ten homes
* Complete demolition and removal of six structures and contents
* Filling of excavation
Removal of all debris on site
* Grading of site to approximate existing condition
Proposals and specifications may be obtained at the Community Development Office, Room 210, City Hall, 207 Lafayette Street, Winona, Minnesota.
Bids must be made on the proposal forms furnished.
A certified check, cashier's check or bidder's bond shall accompany each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid made payable to the Port Authority of Winona Minnesota, which shall be forfeited to the Port Authority of Winona in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the Port Authority of Winona.
The Port Authority of Winona reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
