ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
2005 MANHOLE
INSPECTION,
SEWER CLEANING & SEWER TELEVISING WORK
STOCKTON, MINNESOTA
Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of the City of Stockton, Minnesota, at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall, for the 2005 MANHOLE INSPECTION, SEWER CLEANING AND SEWER TELEVISING WORK until 7:30 p.m., April 12, 2005, and will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
The work consists of inspecting 85 sanitary sewer manholes, cleaning approximately 23,379 L.F. of sanitary sewer line (8" and 10"), and the televising of approximately 23,379 L.F. of sanitary sewer line (8" and 10").
No bid will be considered unless it is securely sealed in an envelope and filed with the City Clerk prior to the time noted above for the closing of bids.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Stockton, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract with the City for the work described in the proposal. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided by law.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, or to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
Proposal forms, Plans, and Specifications as prepared by Zenk Read Trygstad & Associates, Inc. may be examined at the following locations:
1. Office of City Clerk, City Hall, Stockton, Minnesota.
2. Zenk Read Trygstad & Associates, Inc., 907 Sykes Street, P.O. Box 689, Albert Lea, Minnesota.
Plans and Specifications may be obtained from ZENK READ TRYGSTAD & ASSOCIATES, INC., 907 Sykes Street, Box 689, Albert Lea, Minnesota 56007 upon payment of $20.00 (nonrefundable) for each full set of documents.
