BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
NOTICE OF HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
The following applications have been made for variations from the requirements of the Winona City Code, as listed below:
a. Troy Kuchel - for variance of Section 43.20, which requires primary structures on lots of record be set back 10% the width of the lot from the side lot line to the eave or 5' 6" on a 55' wide lot. Petitioner wants to construct an addition on the side of the house in line with the existing wall at 4' 6" from the wall and 4' from the eave to the lot line. Property described as R-2, Lot 13, Block 4, Chutes Addition, or at 611 West Broadway Street.
b. Jean A. Hovland - for variance of Section 43.20(a), which requires a primary structure to be set back from side lot lines to the eave 10% the width of the lot or 7' 6" on a 75 foot wide lot. Petitioner wants to add onto an attached garage with a lot line to eave set back of 2' 6:. Property described as R-1, Lot 10 & Sly 15' Of Lot 11, Block 1, Grandview Addition, or at 464 Collegeview.
c. Dean & Debra Beckman - for variance of Section 43.56(e), which requires primary structures to be set back 40 feet from the rear lot line. Petitioner wants to construct a sun room on the rear of the house with a 36' 6" set back from the rear lot line. Property described as R-1, Lot 3, Block 2, Hillview Addition, or at 565 Kerry Drive.
d.Larry Pflughoeft - for variance of Section 43.20(c), which requires structures on a corner lot to be set back from the side street lot line 20% the width of the lot which is 10 foot on a 50 foot wide lot. Petitioner wants to construct an addition on the Wall Street side with a 5 foot side street side yard set back. Property described as R-2, Lot 7, Block 5, E C Hamilton Addition, or at 422 Wall Street.
Notice is sent to the applicants and to the owners of the property affected by the application.
A hearing on these petitions will be given in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Winona, Minnesota at 5:00 p.m. on June 1, 2005 at which time interested persons may appear either in person, in writing, or by agent, and present any reasons which they may have to the granting or denying of these petitions. Any questions regarding the petitioner's request can be directed to the Community Development Department; Inspections Division at 457-8231.
THEY ARE REQUESTED TO PREPARE THEIR CASE IN DETAIL AND PRESENT ALL EVIDENCE RELATING TO THIS PETITION AT THE TIME OF THE SCHEDULED HEARING.
