CITY OF WINONA
NOTICE OF HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
The following appeals to the Winona City Council have been made for variations from the requirements of the Winona City Code, as listed below:
a) Paul Kintzle - for variance of Section 43.49, which requires in any residential district that no fence be erected within 20 feet of the corner (the point of intersection of the right-of-way) which interferes with traffic visibility across the corner. Owner wishes to construct four foot high picket fence up to the corner property line. Property describes as R-2, Easterly 95 feet of Lot 1, Block 45, O P Winona, or at 207 Washington St.
b) Amy Peterson - for variance of Section 43.57(e), which requires a 25 foot minimum front yard set back and Section 43.20(a), which requires a minimum side yard set back from the lot line to the eave of 10% the width of the lot or 5 foot 6 inches on a 55 foot wide lot. Petitioner wants to construct an addition on to the house with a 3 foot 5 inch front yard set back and a 3 foot 6 inch side yard set back. Property describes as R-2, Sly 55' Of Lot 6, Block 2, Hubbards Addition, or at 362 Hamilton Street.
Notice is sent to the applicants and to the owners of the property affected by the application.
A hearing on these petitions will be given in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Winona, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. on August 1, 2005 at which time interested persons may appear either in person, in writing, or by agent, and present any reasons which they may have to the granting or denying of these petitions.
