Hidden in Plain Sight exhibit at Winona Health gives parents tips for spotting potential signs of substance misuse

Parents and guardians have a rare opportunity to learn how to spot potential signs of substance experimentation and misuse at the Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) Hidden in Plain Sight exhibit.

The Hidden in Plain Sight exhibit will be open to parents and guardians on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the resource library on the clinic’s first floor at Winona Health, 855 Mankato Avenue, Winona.

ASAP offers this free exhibit to help parents and guardians learn about the warning signs of substance use. Adults can walk through this mock teen bedroom with a checklist to identify more than a dozen household items that may indicate substance misuse.

The exhibit is open to parents and guardians only. Partners include the Winona County Drug Court and Winona Police Department.
