The Winona Friendship Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
Those who have membership will receive a renewal letter a month before you need to renew your membership. The membership costs consist of $30 for an individual or $50 for a couple (two people in a household). Memberships are yearly from the date of purchase. Stop in to get your membership set up or renewed.
2019 Active Wellness Center membership
WSU exercise science students are available for monitoring and training. The program includes older-adult-friendly exercise equipment and work-out programs designed specifically for each individual. Release forms must be filled out prior to work out on the first day; forms will be faxed to your doctor to avoid charges for an office visit.
The center accepts Silver & Fit or Silver Sneakers. If you have either of these programs the fee is free and the center does the billing. Payment is required upon registering. The cost for members is $78 yearly.

Teleconference: Across Vietnam to the Wall Offered by Harley Tracks
Author Mike Rinowski tells the story of an epic journey that honors Vietnam Veterans like no other during this teleconference on Friday, February 21, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. It is free for members.
He will share stories and pictures from what is truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey. A joy ride on his day off turned into a quest that rolled into a 41,000-mile journey alone across Vietnam.
Essential Oils And Well-Being
Learn about essential oils and how they support well-being and how to begin using them for your personal health goals. Barbara Saykally will facilitate this session on Wednesday, February 26, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost for members is $5. A question and answer session to follow. Take home a roller bottle of your own.
Minn. Safety Council defensive driving 8-hour initial course
If you are 55 or older, save money on your car insurance premiums and become a better driver. You will receive a 10-percent reduction for three years if you complete the National Safety Council’s course, taught by professional certified instructors. No driving or test is required. The class will be held on Monday and Wednesday, April 6 and 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost for members is $17 and for non-members is $26.
Boston, Salem and Cape Ann Bus Trip 2020
This trip facilitated by Diamond Tours from September 26 to October 5 will be nine days and eight nights with 14 meals including eight breakfasts and six dinners. A fee of $75 is due upon registering. Stop in at the front desk for more details and a brochure. The cost for a single is $1,348, double is $949, and triple is $929.
