Congratulations to Hannah Graff for being selected to participate in the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA) All-State Choir for the 2020-2021 school year. The MMEA all-state choir camp is normally held the first week of August, but due to COVID-19, the summer camp was canceled. The MMEA All-State choirs will gather in February at Minneapolis, Minn., for a five-day camp, and also present their concert at the Minnesota Music Educator’s Association State Convention. The All-State Choir concert will take place at Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis, Minn. The All-State camp is tentatively set for February 9-14, 2021, with the exact date and time of the All-State concerts to be determined.
The all-state music students have the opportunity to work with some of the finest conductors and music educators in the country as well as meeting outstanding music students from all across the state of Minnesota. Graff will sing alto 1 in the MMEA All-State Soprano/Alto Choir.
Graff will be a senior at Cotter High School in the fall where she is in concert choir, show choir, and Divas (a select women’s ensemble).
Hannah is the daughter of Todd Graff and Laurie Ziliak. Hannah has made Cotter history in that she was in All-State Band (French horn) her junior year, and will be in All-State Choir her senior year. No one has ever accomplished being selected to both band and choir all state ensembles before. Her choral director at Cotter Schools is Cathy Snyder.
