Winona Police

Saturday, October 17

• At 11:53 a.m. officers cited Jason Paul Garfield, 40, of Winona, with possession of a syringe and possession of a small amount of marijuana on the 600 block of West Fifth Street.

• At 11:44 p.m. officers cited David Eugene Tully, 42, of Oxnard, Calif., with criminal damage to property after he allegedly broke a light and door at Winona Health.

Sunday, October 18

• At 12:30 a.m. officers arrested David Eugene Tully, 42, of Oxnard, Calif., and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of obstructing the legal process and fourth-degree assault after he was reportedly found in a lane of traffic on Highway 61.

Monday, October 19

• At 3:30 p.m. officers received a report that a rock was thrown through the window of a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Johnson Street.

• At 8:45 p.m. officers received a report that gasoline with a value of about $20 was stolen from the Kwik Trip on Cottonwood Drive.

• At 9:27 p.m. offices received a report that two bikes were stolen on the 250 block of East Ninth Street.


Winona County

Thursday, October 15

• At 5:35 p.m. deputies arrested a 58-year-old man on suspicion of driving while intoxicated on County Road 29 after reportedly observing him weaving in a lane of traffic. Potential charges are pending blood-test results.

Minnesota State Patrol

Thursday, October 15

• At 10:44 a.m. a 65-year-old Wabasha man was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries after he was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 61. According to the report, one vehicle was eastbound on Huff Street. The Wabasha man was reportedly operating a vehicle that was pulling a trailer, and he was going northbound on Highway 61. The two vehicles collided, which caused the trailer to disconnect and hit another vehicle stopped in a turn lane on Huff Street, according to the report.
