Beverley L. "Bev" Brennan, 74, of Winona, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at her home.
Beverley Louise Hengel was born December 28, 1930, in Winona to Theodore and Anna Hengel. She graduated from Winona Senior High School and Central Radio and Television School, Kansas City, Mo. On April 19, 1952, she married Charles J. Brennan and he preceded her in death, August 13, 1983.
Bev was formerly employed with American Airlines, New York City, from 1949-51, and then moved to Chicago, Ill., and was employed with Ford Aircraft Engine Division. They moved to Winona in 1969. She was formerly employed locally with Merchants Bank and she retired from the Winona School District where she worked in the business office.
Bev also did volunteer work at Volunteer Services and the Winona Historical Society. She enjoyed traveling and watching the Minnesota Vikings.
Bev is survived by her three sons, Kirk Brennan of Placentia, Calif., Scott (Chris) Brennan of Peterson, Minn., and Craig (Stacy) Brennan of Bluff Siding, Wis.; two grandsons, Adam Brennan and Erik (Tanya) Brennan; two granddaughters, Skyler Brennan and Shaylea Brennan; one great-grandson Zhek Brennan; a sister, Bernett Cady, Peterson, Minn.; and other relatives.,
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Noreen Jepson, and a brother, Ralph Hengel.
A memorial service with shared memories of Bev was held Saturday, January 1, at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home. Private family interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, at a later date.
