Meet me on the Bluff

Saturday, August 3, 9-10:30 a.m.

Join Steve, the park naturalist, for spectacular views on top of Brady’s Bluff. Learn about the park and surrounding area. Bring your binoculars. Pets on leashes are welcome.

Skulls and Furs

Saturday, August 3, 3-4 p.m.

Come observe and explore a variety of animal furs and skulls from the area. This is a hands-on activity suitable for all ages.

Exploring the Night Sky

Saturday, August 3, 8-10 p.m.

Bob Allen from La Crosse Area Astronomical Society will guide you on a tour of the night sky. Star charts and sky calendars will be given out along with guidance on how to use them. If the sky is clear, telescopes will be available for viewing the moon, Jupiter, Saturn and other amazing features of the night sky.

‘Decoding the Driftless’ with Q&A

Thursday, August 8, 7 p.m.

Emmy-winning filmmaker George Howe of Sustainable Driftless will be at Perrot to present “Decoding the Driftless.” Please join for a wild ride of adventure above, on, and below the amazing driftless region! Learn why this one region, in the heart of America, is the only “island driftless region” in the world. Afterward, Howe will answer your questions.
