About the Old Main Historical and Community Arts Center
Opened in 1862, Old Main was the main building of Galesville University, the first university in western Wisconsin. It is now a nonprofit organization, and volunteers diligently work to preserve and improve the historic building and grounds for future generations by offering a variety of programs throughout the year. Its mission is to establish and maintain a regional cultural center, which preserves the past, promotes the arts, and inspires ideas through personal and community involvement. Please visit www.oldmain.org or its Facebook page to learn more about the building, programs, and the organization.
Old Main is located at 20869 College Avenue in Galesville. From Highway 54/93, simply turn on to County Road T and follow the signs.
