Saturday, December 23

"At 12:30 a.m. police stopped a vehicle driven by Sontha Ursalla Reine, 46, of Winona, after she allegedly made an improper turn and didn't signal near Vine and King streets. She failed a preliminary breath test and was cited with misdemeanor drunken driving with a blood alcohol content measured at .09 percent.

Thursday, December 27

"At 5:21 p.m. police responded to a report of a fight on the 100 block of Main Street. A 34-year-old male victim told police he'd answered the door and Mark Allen Manseau, 45, of Winona, began to argue with him. The victim said that Manseau grabbed him and threw him to the floor. The victim had a cut near his right eye and blood on his clothes. Police cited Manseau with fifth degree assault.


Friday, Dec. 14

7:05 a.m. - Officer issued a citation for a parking violation and for expired vehicle registration.

2:05 p.m. - Citizen reported suspicious activity. A male and female were observed removing appliances from a vacant trailer in Lake Village.

Officers issued four citations for failure to stop for a stop sign. One citation was issued for speeding 40/30.

Saturday, Dec. 15

1:15 a.m. - Officer working Safe and Sober shift observed a vehicle speeding and performed a traffic stop. Officer warned driver for speeding and issued citation to passenger for minor consumption.

8:55 p.m. - Officer observed a traffic accident at Sixth and Pelzer and assisted the Winona Police with traffic control.

10:42 p.m. - Officer received report of a suspicious person going around to different residences and knocking on doors. Subject was described as being a white male in his twenties wearing black AC/DC pajamas and a black jacket. Officer made contact with subject who indicated he had missed his bus, was stranded and looking for a place to stay. Officer gave subject a ride to a local motel.

Sunday, Dec. 16

12:10 a.m. - Officer assisted the sheriff's department with a report of a fight at the L-Cove Bar in Minnesota City.

1:20 a.m. - Officer assisted the sheriff's department with an attempt to locate a vehicle that was being driven in the Hidden Valley area in a reckless manner. Vehicle was not located.

Monday, Dec. 17

5:15 p.m. - Officer received report of hit and run damage to a vehicle while parked at the owner's place of work.

10:30 a.m. - Officer responded to a two vehicle accident, no injuries, on Ninth Street.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

7:51 a.m. - Officer assisted with a medical response call.

Wednesday, Dec. 19

5:35 p.m. - Officer responded to a two-vehicle accident, no injuries. One driver was cited for inattentive driving.

Thursday, Dec. 20

Officers issued one citation for a stop sign violation and two citations for speeding.

Friday, Dec. 21

2:17 p.m. - Citizen reported damage to their vehicle. Driver's side window was broken and items taken. Investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, Dec. 22

10:29 a.m. - Citizen found a black Lab with a pink collar and no tags. Dog was transported to Humane Society.

Sunday, Dec. 23

Officer issued nine citations for parking on street during snow removal. Vehicles were towed.

3:15 a.m. - Officer observed suspicious activity at The Bar. Upon investigation, officer found employees inside drinking. Subjects were told they needed to leave.

Monday, Dec. 24

Officer issued six citations for parking on street during snow removal. Vehicles were towed.

9:56 a.m. - Officer responded to a two-vehicle accident near the entrance to Lake Village. No injuries were reported.
