"At 5:00 a.m. it was reported that a wooden utility pole belonging to Xcel Energy was found laying in a yard in the 1300 block of West 6th Street.
Monday, December 5
"At 12:26 p.m. two Winona girls, ages 15 and 16, were cited for shoplifting a total of $25.25 worth of merchandise from Kmart, 1122 West Highway 61.
Tuesday, December 6
"At 1:31 a.m. a burglary was reported in the 250 block of West 4th Street. Missing items include an Xbox, a Game Cube and various DVDs and CDs.

Monday, December 5
"At 7:46 p.m. at the intersection of Sarnia and South Baker streets, John Stanley Kujak, 55, Winona, was cited for 4th degree drunken driving, 3rd degree test refusal and 5th degree possession of a controlled substance. According to the report, a white powdery substance found in the vehicle field tested positive for cocaine.

a police officer.
"At 6:40 p.m. a 17-year-old Minnesota City boy was cited for minor consumption, underage drinking and driving and no driver's license at the East End Rec Center. A 14-year-old Winona boy was also cited for minor consumption.
Monday, December 5
"At 3:41 a.m. officers were called to investigate a report of a domestic assault in the 1700 block of West 6th Street. Jose Luis Cisneros-Davilla, 38, Winona, was arrested for domestic assault by strangulation, a felony charge.
