PlastiComp, Inc., a global leader in long fiber thermoplastic (LFT) materials and technologies, announced that it has promoted Eric Wollan to vice president, technology and business development. In this position, Wollan will lead PlastiComp’s teams responsible for composite material development, application design and performance analysis, while also educating and engaging select partners to expand markets for the firms LFT products and services.

Wollan has been with PlastiComp for 10 years and has held several hands-on managerial roles as the long fiber compounder has grown, including initiating its technical development center, overseeing composite pellet manufacturing, applying this composites expertise to customer development, and most recently directing technical operations. He is a 1996 graduate of Winona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in composite materials engineering.
