Jean Ann Wnuk Langowski, age 64, of Andover, MN, and formerly of Fountain City, WI, passed away very peacefully at home December 24, 2010, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by parents, Marjorie (Abts) and Ralph Wnuk. Survived by the love of her life and soul mate, Kenn Justin, Kenn’s son, Mark Justin, brother, Fred Wnuk, and sister, Dorothy (Bill) Daubs of Fountain City, WI, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, several aunts, uncles and her beloved cats, Joey and Jimmy.
Jean is remembered for her quick wit, great sense of humor, love of family and friends, generosity and zest for life. She was a beautiful person and extremely intelligent. Jean had a great green thumb for all plants, indoor and outdoor. She was a wonderful cook and loved to plan parties. Jean loved to have fun and make people laugh. Jean loved car racing, concerts, plays and travel.
Jean was retired from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, where she worked in the Student Loan Office for 27 years.
Memorial services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Fountain City, WI, on Saturday, 1/8/11, with visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, story telling at 10:30 and Mass at 11:00 with a luncheon following at the church.
