Winona Police Department officers arrested a 41-year-old Winona man after he allegedly fired a gun on January 6 on the 900 block of East Broadway.
Eric Corey, 41, of Winona, allegedly fired a shotgun near a residence at about 1:52 p.m., and pellets from the round struck a nearby vehicle and hit the male driver inside, according to the report. The driver reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries. A nearby house was also hit, according to the report.
The Winona County Attorney’s Office charged Corey with unlawful possession of a firearm and a dangerous weapons violation, both felonies.
